My comic story is about a 17 years old girl who has an ability to predict an upcoming tragedy. She can prevent before the tragedy happens. However, as she grows up without love as her parents had been killed when she was young. She hates this world and doesn’t care about other people. At the end, she changes her behaviour because of the friendship with a 5 years old boy.
In my comic, “teddy bear” is an important symbol which connects the girl and the little boy.
The frames in some pages will be the outline of the objects, i.e. the little boy first presents in an outline of teddy bear.
The background colour of my comic slightly changes throughout the story. At first, the colour is gloomy blue to show the girl is unhappy and is a sorrowful girl. After the little boy comes into her life, he lights up her life. Thus, the background colour becomes lighter, and eventually becomes white as white is an innocent colour. The change of the girl will also show on the dress she wears and her looking. The characters in my comic are digital drawings and the background and some other objects are photos which filter to fit in my comic.
I want the audience feel sympathy of the girl as she lacks of love and doesn’t trust anyone. However, at the end, I want the audiences are impressed by the friendship of the girl and the little boy.
