As high utilization of social media surrounds our life, we obtain enormous information from the Internet easier than before. Moreover, we live in democratic environment, and faced many times of election and lots of political activity. The students pay much attention to political issues more than several years ago, and in addition we faces many political cases in 2014 such as The Sunflower Movement and local election, which stimulate the students to take part in political activity. Moreover, through process of The Sunflower Movement much information and news were issued by the Internet, and indeed it stimulate people to understand the political issues. Therefore, we will concentrate on the local election of 2014. Whether the factor of social media could affect the political participation of young people efficiently, and they were willing to take a vote in this election. Then we will observe whole 6 faculties of Tamkang University, and pick up 100 students who have the voting right are as our research samples in each faculties.
